Pienamente d’accordo a proposito dello sceneggiato BBC. Per Gormenghast ci vorrebbe Tim Burton!
Se ti è piaciuto il primo volume, il secondo ti piacerà ancora di più; io trovo che sia decisamente meno naive e strutturato in modo più organico. Una scrittura più consapevole, insomma. Non aspettarti nulla dal terzo volume, purtroppo (è una lunga storia, prima o poi mi deciderò a scriverne).
Comunque le traduzioni Adelphi sono eccellenti.
Una domanda: il volumetto “Lettere dal Polo Nord” ha le pagine illustrate e il testo scritto a macchina su pezzi di carta “incollati” alle illustrazioni?
sì, l’effetto raggiunto è quello; la nota dice che è stato riprodotto non da un’edizione inglesi ma dalle illustrazioni originali. considerata la necessità di inserire il lettering in italiano, è un bel volumetto; peccato solo che la carta sia patinata – mi sarebbe piaciuta un po’più opaca.
