finished reading una donna che fischia (a whistling woman), last instalment in what I see as the saga for well-read girls (though maybe I didn't like it as much as the previous volumes, maybe because of the sect thing going on).
I've read most of the series in italian (except still life), but this time I've been wondering if all the adjectives and descriptions are just as tiresome in english (how can so many things be «seducenti»?).
well, now I've got children's book ready for the holidays, so I'll probably find out soon.

Io sono un po’ innamorata della quadrilogia e come tutti gli innamorati sono scarsa a trovare difetti (vero che non sono tutti alla stessa altezza, però che altezza!). Letti un po’in italiano e un po’ in inglese (a volte pericolosamente mischiando) penso che sia una di quelle rare volte in cui la traduzione si apprezza quasi quanto l’originale.
