Grazie per la segnalazione. Ho scoperto che non so quante migliaia di persone con il mio cognome sono partite nei primi del novecento per l’america. cisono persone che hanno i nomi dei miei fratelli, nessuna con il mio. Ma penso che a mio padre farà piacere vedere una cosa del genere, visto che tiene ancora molto alle sue origini siciliane.
Io ho un cognome troppo comune, ma con l’amica V. siamo andate a cercare le tracce di suo nonno partito e mai tornato, perse le tracce dopo qualche lettera, lasciando moglie e figli in Italia.
