ahiahiahi, qui si sconfina in campo matematico, dove la mia ignoranza non si può neanche dire abissale perché proprio non distinguo più l’alto dal basso. ma pur di non lavorare ho or ora cercato e trovato un sito che indica il primo uso attestato del simbolo: http://members.aol.com/jeff570/operation.html
in breve: pare che il + nasca nel medioevo come abbreviazione del latino et, per indicare aggiunta, somma e quindi l’addizione.
sui concetti matematici di positivo e negativo, immagino la letteratura sia fin troppa… ho un moto di paura, aiuto.
